Sentinel provides configurable reports with selected fields, filters and sorting. Report definitions can be saved, organised and shared where permitted.
Collection queries allow report conditions to examine related collections of records, such as laboratory results, exposures or tasks. This supports questions that cannot be answered from a single field on the parent record.
For example, a collection query can identify cases with a qualifying laboratory result or investigations with a related task meeting specified conditions. It can narrow a line list according to the contents of those related records.
Reporting functions include:
- Selecting standard and available custom fields.
- Filtering parent records and querying related collections.
- Saving and sharing report definitions.
- Exporting authorised report data.
Reports and exports remain subject to access controls on the underlying data.
Interactive pivot reporting uses the optional WebDataRocks component and requires acceptance of its separate vendor terms. Standard report tables do not depend on this component.
Scheduled report generation and email distribution are planned capabilities.
